Air India has resolved issues related to new contracts with two of its pilot unions that were opposing certain clauses of the new service agreement. This comes after weeks of negotiations and in a market that is now flooded with experienced pilots looking for jobs after the recent bankruptcy filing of Go First.

 

Pilot unions agree to new contracts

Air India’s two pilot unions – the Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA) and the Indian Pilots Guild (IPG) – have said yes to the revised salary structure following a meeting held on May 11th. A vote was held among the union members, and reportedly 80% voted in favor of signing the new contract
