After nearly two years, Priority Pass and LoungeKey members will have access to 63 Plaza Premium lounges around the globe once again. Following a new agreement between the Collinson Group and Plaza Premium Lounges, cardholders will be able to access 39 locations starting June 6th and the remaining 24 from June 20th onward. The deal is great news for cardholders, giving them more options at key hubs in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
Restoring access
On July 1st, 2021, Priority Pass and Plaza Premium cut nearly all ties, with card members excluded from the independent lounge provider. It was a blow for hundreds of thousands, who had come to associate the two closely, and who lost access to a dependable network of over 60 facilities globally.
However, this is no more. After negotiations, Collinson (who owns Priority Pass and LoungeKey) and Plaza Premium have reached a new price agreement that will see the lounge access open once again for the black cards. The first phase starts today, June 8th, with 39 lounges now available to members. On June 20th, the entire network will be accessible once again.
